TicketRx announced its sale to an Overland Park, Kan., company less than two years after pitching at the 2017 Pure Pitch Rally.
The mobile app makes it easier for out-of-state commercial drivers to clear up citations by pairing them with local attorneys. It was acquired by MSTS, a global payments and credit solutions provider.
“I literally just came up with this idea on the back of a napkin while I was in college and got a bunch of traffic tickets because I had a fast car and a lead foot,” founder Bryan Shannon said.
