PlanIT Impact has nearly reached its goal for $500,000 in its latest funding round, which will allow it to increase its staff. The startup’s funding to date totals $1.3 million.

The platform, aimed at the AEC industry, uses cost data and a building’s energy, water and stormwater performance to help guide decisions on greener, cost-efficient building or rehabilitation projects.

Karen Fenaroli, founder of Pure Pitch Rally and startup investment fund Minerva, is leading the latest angel round of 12 national investors, which she said includes “significant” individuals and companies in the architecture, engineering and construction space. PlanIT Impact earned the most investments when it pitched at Pure Pitch Rally in 2017, Fenaroli said.
