Pure Pitch Rally alumCodeAlgo Academy has officially launched in K-8 classrooms, and founder Triumfia Houmbie Fulks says the platform is now fully independent. Introduced this fall, CodeAlgo lets students solve coding challenges while playing interactive games, without the need of any engineers or classroom facilitators to be present.

Since September, the platform has expanded to eight schools across the Kansas City area, including two districts and two charter schools. Students have already completed more than 10,000 problems, proving persistent engagement.

Younger students, from kindergarten through sixth grade, build a foundation in algorithmic thinking, while middle school students are advancing into more complex Python coding through the app. The platform also encourages creativity by giving students the opportunity to design levels and share with classmates.

Teachers are already seeing a noticeable impact. Students using CodeAlgo are developing stronger critical thinking skills and learning at a faster rate than their peers. Schools also report the app helping students approach math and problem-solving in new ways.

Plans are underway to expand partnerships and make coding accessible beyond the classroom by enabling parents to download the app for use at home. Fulks views this current stage as a foundation for continued progress, with ongoing feedback from students and educators shaping the next phase of development.
