Three Pure Pitch Rally alumni are among 10 Kansas City startups preparing to pitch for the chance to represent Kansas City on a global stage.

AskSAMIE, led by 2022 PPR alumna Brandy Archie; MedCurate, led by 2023 alumna Ashley McClellan; and CodeAlgo Academy, led by PPR alumna Triumfia Houmbie Fulks, have been selected to compete in the Startup World Cup Kansas City Regional Tournament on September 22 at CPKC Stadium.

Each founder will have four minutes to pitch before a panel of judges and a live audience. One company will be selected to represent KC at the Startup World Cup Grand Finale in San Francisco, joining champions from more than 100 regions worldwide for a shot at the competition’s $1 million investment prize.

For AskSAMIE, MedCurate and CodeAlgo, earning a spot in the regional tournament marks another exciting milestone in their continued growth and a chance to put Kansas City innovation in front of an even bigger audience.

We’ll be cheering on all three as they take the stage September 22 and vie to take KC all the way to the Startup World Cup.
